“We need to talk, Ranleigh. Now.”

I don’t know if it is something serious for him to be in haste but seeing his face darkened makes me think so. I think I should prepare myself for what is about to come — may it be his anger that would devour me alive or the shock that his words may cause. I placed my hands under the table and nodded.

“I should go now. Please excuse me,” Sheldon declared as his brows furrowed.

I think even Sheldon doesn’t know what’s going on based on his reaction and his careful curious gazes at Bryce.

And even I don’t think that this is just something trivial that I could just look over and ignore if I ever feel uncomfortable with it. Bryce wouldn’t storm in here during working hours if it is not something I should take seriously.
