CHAPTER 9

I practice a little more and when we are both done training we head back upstairs when we meet a guy. Rexford does a handshake with him and I introduce myself. "Hi I'm Lucy" I wave.

"Lucy and Rexford Reynolds huh?" He says. His name is apparently Chris and he does seem like a nice person. He has light brown hair and is as tall as Rexford . His green eyes and freckles make him look cute.

"Let me introduce you to my most loyal guard." Rexford says. "Hey man, is that how you introduce me? I'm Rexford's best friend" he says. It's hard to think anyone would want to be his friend since he doesn't talk to other people that much. But I'm glad he has him.

"Nice to meet you Chris " I say as I give him a soft smile, Rexford moves closer to me.

"How come I've never seen you around before?" I ask him because if he is close to Rexford I should have seen him at the house.

"Ask Rexford he's the one being weird for about a month, letting me do all the work for him" he says smiling. What does he mean w
