CHAPTER EIGHT

In the town, around the warehouse there were three patrols and then, a taxi that arrived to the crime scene. The ambulance hadn’t arrived and, how come? They were in the town, almost in the middle of nowhere.

Rebecca and Judith got off the taxi. Judith was about to go crazy, she was out of her senses. By that moment she knew there was no way her father could be waiting for her like it was her last wish, like death was going to wait for him until he said he was ready to go.

“My father! My father!” Judith cried out, running to the warehouse.

“Wait, Judith, wait!” Rebecca ran behind her friend.

The police men surrounding the area stopped Judith when they say their intentions to get in.

“You can’t enter there, Mrs.” One of the men took her by her arms.

“Let go of me! He’s my father!” Judith called out.

“Please, let her in! She’s the daughter of the man who had died!” Rebecca spoke.
