Chapter 29: A case of delusion

The expression on Dustin's face was ambiguous. I couldn't understand what he was feeling right now. He looked uncomfortable about something. I continued to watch his face even though I couldn't figure out his expression waiting for him to explain why, in the devil's hell, did he think that Lucifer did anything for my sake.

It must really be a case of delusion.

Dustin sighed sadly before responding in a weird tone. "I think my brother likes you."

"Say what now!" I burst into laughter. I laughed until my belly ached, and all the while, Dustin stood watching me with a patient expression on his face. waiting for my amusement to fade with no sign of irritation.

when I was able to control myself, I shook my head at him like he was too naive. "Thanks for your little joke. It helped relax me," I patted his hard shoulder, still wearing a smile on my face. I started off toward the screen on the other side of the room to change into the clothes
