Bouquet of flowers.

As I walked back into the hospital room and locked the door behind me, my mind was consumed with thoughts of Jeff. I couldn't believe what I had heard him say to Sophie. My heart was racing with a mix of emotions; confusion, anger, and hurt.

I couldn't understand why Jeff had chosen Sophie to express his love for me. Was he trying to make Sophie jealous? Or was he just being honest with his feelings towards me? I knew I had to confront him about this.

As I sat down on the bed, I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. I look towards the door because I knew he must be standing there, I turn to my son who was sleeping peacefully and smile at his face because I am so grateful to God for saving my son's life, then I thought back to their father's actions, and didn't know if his words were true, if his help were because he wants to win me over or he just wanted to help.
