Avita lives in Oshua, one of the countries that make up the wonderful continent of Afreeka. Oshua is located in southern Afreeka and utilizes the Dryni as its currency.
Oshua is well-known for its agricultural products and is one of the countries on which other countries and nations rely to purchase staple crops such as maize and wheat. Oshua is also mineral-rich, and the service industry is expanding rapidly.
At the same time, the economy was suffering as a result of some international difficulties, conflicts, and other occurrences that could not be expected or averted at all. This caused several companies to close, as well as numerous mining operations to close, forcing many people to lose their jobs.Even the country's service providers were suffering, with individuals being laid off virtually every day. This is why, despite not enjoying her job, Avita was not going to jeopardize her career by waking up jobless the next day. Despite the fact that her compensation was so low that she couldn't even pay her rent of OWD 1,500 per month, let alone food, transportation, and other expenses, she persisted and completed her job.
Fortunately for her, she didn't have to pay the rent alone because she was now living with her boyfriend, who was in charge of the rent while she was in charge of the food and utilities. Avita didn't own a car because it was too pricey for her to purchase and maintain. She'd been working as an Accountant assistant for about two years now and there was no sign of promotion.
Luckily for her, she was able to find work in her present workplace, which was somewhat toxic at the moment, as soon as she graduated. She had been with the company for three months without being paid. It wasn't just her; there were three others with her. It was difficult for her because she had to spend a lot of money every day while not being compensated.
However, in order to gain experience, Avita did not give up but worked tirelessly, and this was the best decision she ever made at the time. Her other colleagues were not hired, and she felt no sympathy for them. After all, if they were chosen, she would forfeit her shot at working for the corporation.
After being hired, Avita received a salary of OWD 1,300, which was later increased throughout the course of her employment until they reached the current wage of OWD 2,000. During the last meeting, the boss promised to raise their salaries, which she was looking forward to because every extra cent in her pocket helps a lot. Avita could only take public transportation because she didn't own a car, which was far less expensive than driving.
The kombis fare was OWD 7, and taxis were OWD 8. Special taxis, on the other hand, were different and dependent on where one was going, but the fee for these taxis started at OWD 40 and goes upwards. However, when compared to the costs of driving, Avita didn't mind being mocked for not driving at all. A liter of gasoline cost OWD 16, and a car would need more than that for only one journey in a day. On a day like this, how much money would a driver spend?
Actually, things used to be a lot better. Even the fuel was approximately OWD 9, but a year ago, due to a war in the Middle East between Country G and D, economic troubles arose, resulting in the ever-increasing prices that have continued to this day. All of these issues, however, would not affect Avita. She was merely a helpless individual with no ability to change anything. Instead of worrying about political issues, she opted to take each day as it came.
Avita took a kombi from Sparrow Commerce Park, which was a park for businesses and warehouses as well as the location of Avita's accounting firm. Avita first took a kombi to the CBD, where she will pick up her second kombi to take her home. Although it was painful to spend nearly OWD 30 per day on transportation alone, what else could be done?
Avita exited the kombi after paying her kombi fare and sighed as she looked at the crowded rank.
'There are a lot of people here! This alone proves that the long weekend has arrived! I can't wait to start making money!'
Avita was a highly positive person who did not give up easily or allow anything to get her down and demotivate her from attaining her goals. Her reason for staying in the CBD for longer this time was to purchase some shares. Although she was an Accountant Assistant, she did not rely solely on that position and also worked part-time.
It will be a lie to believe that she can manage and care for herself alone on her wage. So doing something extra will be extremely beneficial. She didn't want to rely too heavily on her lover. He still has a lot of people to look after. Avita went to the local shopping center, where she found a wholesaler of the product she intended to purchase.
Her phone started ringing again as she walked there, observing the enthusiastic people buying.
"..... if you need someone who can love you while he's gone, baby, you've got my number..."
Avita took out her phone again and saw the same caller I.D., wondering what this troublemaker wanted again.
Avita answered the phone this time; if she continued to ignore this person, something horrible would happen. "What do you want?"
[Damn! Is this how you talk to your friends?]
"Who is your pal? Just tell me what you need from me; I'm really busy!" Avita was not in the mood to entertain her alleged buddy.
For a moment, there was stillness on the other side before the other said, [Where are you right now? I must see you!]
Avita paused for a moment before responding, "I am in the CBD."
[Oh, that's just right. Just send me your location and I'll be there in a flash!]
Avita didn't see how thrilled the other person was and simply texted her location when the call ended. Avita resumed her shopping trip without delay.
A rich young lady was smiling in another part of Wakothanie, the vice-capital of Oshua, the same city where Avita lives.
“What? Did she finally answer your call?" her buddy asked, noticing how happy this lady was.
"Yes, she replied, so I'll be departing now."
"Oh, you're already leaving? We haven't even begun eating yet!"
"Lunch can wait, but Avi cannot. It's not every day that she lets me see her!"
"Why are you so obsessed with her?"
"You will never understand!" sobbed the wealthy lady.
How can mortals understand her?
Avita ignored her so-called friend and continued with her shopping. Avita didn't have much money, so she skipped the high-end stores that were enticing her, instead going straight to a local wholesaler that sold the hair items she was seeking for.Avita worked as a hairdresser part-time and mostly on weekends in a world where one cannot rely on a single source of income. This type of job saved her and supported her throughout the university. She is an orphan who grew up without parents, therefore life was difficult for her. However, growing up in an orphanage did not dampen her spirits or cause her to have low self-esteem; instead, her love and thirst for knowledge made her very confident as she read many books and biographies of successful people. Most of them were uneducated and worked odd jobs until they became wealthy. So, if they can do it, how come she can't? Of course, she'd be lying if she said she could become a multi-millionaire, but she can get rich enough to afford a hou
Avita resolved to put this subject aside for the time being, but there was no way she could forgive Lucilla for what she had done to her back then. At least, not yet."I'm not going to do anything silly. Believe me. So, could you please accompany me?" Avita gazed at Lucilla once again and immediately regretted it, saying, "Fine, I'll go with you, but you better compensate me for my loss." It was meaningless for her to reject because the other was already here. The least she can do is con the other for some Dryni and steal from Lucilla, the wealthy girl. "Don't worry," Lucilla replied gleefully as she continued driving as soon as the traffic lights turned green, “I will reimburse every penny and transfer even more. I truly mean it, and nothing like that will ever happen again." "That had better be true. If you prank me again, believe me, I will do everything in my power to retaliate. Just because your father is a billionaire doesn't imply that I, who don't have money or parents, am
"Honey, I am home!" he exclaimed as he opened the apartment door.He was smiling because, in his opinion, a woman in a black skirt and a red blouse with a basic white apron was cooking. And this woman was his, how could he not be ecstatic? The young woman turned her head without ceasing her hands from stirring the pots and said with a smile, "You are back! I'm afraid I won't be able to come over to you. The pots will catch fire!"She said this with a regretful expression on her face. However, the man was not upset as a result of this. He was thrilled because the cuisine his bae was preparing was one of his favorites, which his bae does not always cook. Her greeting him may wait until another time. She might as well just cook to her heart's content today."It's okay, love," the man murmured as he placed his suitcase on the table, “simply do your own thing. Let me change, and I will come and join you when I am done."Avita nodded and smiled at her man, "Sure, just take your time."Patri
The long weekend was extra special because it coincided with two holidays. The first holiday occurred on Friday, while the second occurred on Sunday. These were President's Day and National Defense Day, respectively. As a result, this holiday, along with Easter, is one of everyone's favorites every year. Every employee is also entitled to paid time off.Avita and Patrick have already made plans for her to leave with Lucilla while Patrick returns to his hometown.Avita was not in the mood to accompany Patrick this time. Her last visit to those folks was unpleasant, and she didn't want to ruin her good mood because of other people. It was natural for them to look down on her since she was an orphan, but that didn't mean she deserved their hatred or anything else they could throw at her.Patrick was the first to depart, and Avita bid him farewell. She didn't have to be concerned about him because he was driving back. She received a call from Lucilla after she had sent him away, informing
Hearing this, the saleslady swiftly withdrew and went into the office, emerging later with a package containing a new and sealed phone. All Avita had to do was present her national ID to the salesperson in order for the phone to be registered in her name.Lucilla's move surprised her because she hadn't expected her to buy her such an expensive phone. She'll have to roam around with pepper spray to ward off robbers with a phone like this.Lucilla purchased the phone and escorted Avita out of the store. Avita was zoning out while holding the bag containing the phone.Lucilla didn't spend much time at the shopping mall and only went to three more stores, where she bought a few dresses and cosmetics worth thousands of Drynis. After finishing their preparations, Lucilla and Avita exited the shopping, and Lucilla drove to the airport, where the rest of the group awaited them. The girls were flying on a private plane owned by Lucilla's family for this trip, and Avita was astonished to learn
Lucilla had already prepared everything upon her arrival, so the girls didn't have to rush around helplessly while the guys assigned to Lucilla dealt with everything.Avita gazed out the window as she was driven to this unknown location. The girls traveled on their outing to Ghabina, one of Sinazolengwe's biggest and famous cities.Ghabina was highly known for its waterfalls and also has one of the world's greatest wonders. The reason for this was that Ghabina was near the edge of the continent, with the ocean on the other side. All of this knowledge, Avita learned from the girls who appeared to have visited this location before they met.Lucilla actually demonstrated what it feels like to be wealthy. The girls were going to stay at the number one hotel in Ghabina, a five-star hotel.Avita didn't want to overburden herself because she knew that staying in this hotel for only one night would give her a headache. As a result, the less she knew, the better for her thinking.Everyone had
Avita entered the complex with mixed feelings, greeting her neighbors halfheartedly as she made her way to Block B, where her apartment was located.Patrick's car hadn't come yet, which was understandable given that she had spoken with him earlier when she got to the airport and he was still on the road and on his way back. The flat had not been cleaned in a long time, so Avita began cleaning, which distracted her from what Lucilla had said to her.Avita was already in a good mood when Patrick returned home, and the two who hadn't seen each other in a few days embraced each other firmly as if they meant it.Patrick kissed the forehead of his girlfriend, whom he had meticulously pursued for several months before they began dating, and said, "I will wash up first, then we can have some pizza."Avita responded with a shy smile and a nod of her head.Patrick whistled as he walked to the restroom, and Avita couldn't help but cast a passionate glance at the man she'd been with for almost tw
".....Ummm, ok, okay, I get it. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from my spouse... Yes, please, and thank you very much."A scarlet overflowing dress that swept the floor, diamonds gleaming on the person, and expensive taste in furniture were all enough to demonstrate how wealthy the person on the phone was.She exited the other living room, where she had been, and strolled neatly to the sitting area. After a short walk that was not boring because the walls were adorned with many pricey paintings that were hung there.Flower pots with pricey flowers and plants in various areas of the rooms made the entire house look brighter and homier.“Hey!!!!!!!!! Give me my phone right now!" cried a teenage girl wearing a short jumpsuit at the younger lad who was attempting to flee from her.The lady in red simply shook her head helplessly as she observed this familiar act that these two enjoyed performing every now and again."Catch me if you can!" exclaimed the younger lad as he continued
