MasukChapter 2
Rihanna's POV
By 6:15 a.m my alarm rang, dragging me out of a dream where Sean had me bent over his desk with one hand fisted in my hair.
I woke up flushed, ashamed, and annoyingly wet.
This has to fucking stop.
I showered quickly, dressed in my usual armor, a cream blouse, knee-length grey skirt, and cardigan, The cardigan was important.
Nobody wanted to fuck a woman wearing a cardigan that looked like it belonged to somebody’s exhausted aunt.
Perfect.
Sean Davis barely looked at me when I dressed like this, which was exactly what I needed. The less attention I got from him, the easier it would be to steal information from his company without ending up dead in a ditch somewhere.
Or worse, fired.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure which one would hurt my ego more.
Soon, I was at my desk, coffee already brewing for Mr Sean the way he liked it: black, no sugar, and scalding hot.
The encrypted drive from last night had already been mailed to my father first thing in the morning.
At exactly 8:05, the elevator dinged, and Sean stepped out looking like he hadn’t slept. His hair was slightly messy, jaw tight, and his suit was impeccable as always. He walked past my desk without a glance.
“Coffee,” he muttered.
“Good morning, Mr. Davis,” I said anyway.
He paused for half a second but didn’t respond before disappearing into his office.
Typical.
Sean’s office door slammed shut hard enough to rattle the glass walls around it.
I exhaled slowly and looked back at my screen, pretending my pulse hadn’t just jumped at the sound alone.
God, this was pathetic.
lately, the atmosphere inside Davis Motors had changed. Everyone felt it.
The pressure.
The fear.
The company was bleeding money from the superbike division, shareholders were getting restless, and competitors somehow kept getting information they should never have had access to.
And I was part of the reason why.
The guilt sat heavier in my chest this morning.
I released a quiet breath and tried focusing on my screen instead of the image of his tired eyes and rolled sleeves burning through my head.
Unfortunately, my imagination had never listened to reason.
In my mind already, Damien Black had shoved his exhausted secretary against the elevator wall after a sleepless night, voice rough with frustration while she trembled beneath him.
Stop. You fucking slut!!
My phone buzzed softly.
I looked at the caller ID and my heart sank.
FATHER.
Instant tension spread through my chest.
Just seeing the word made my stomach knot.
I quickly glanced toward Sean’s office before answering through my earpiece.
I answered quietly. “Good morning.”
“You sent incomplete files to me?"
No greeting. No warmth. Just disappointment sharpened into a weapon.
My shoulders stiffened. “It was enough to help with negotiations.”
“It wasn’t enough to cripple him.”
I swallowed hard. Cripple him... My father really wasn't playing around.
Even after all these months, my father’s voice could still make me feel sixteen again...small, cornered, and desperate for his approval that never came.
“He’s increasing internal security,” I said carefully. “I can’t move recklessly right now.”
They was a long pause on the other end of the line, and then my father chuckled dryly....
“You’re getting soft.” My grip tightened around the phone at his words.
“That man ruined this family,” my father continued. “Or have you suddenly forgotten what happened to your brother?” The words hit exactly where he intended...A sharp ache opened in my chest.
“I haven’t forgotten,” I whispered.
“Good. Then stop sounding so fucking guilty and do a better job. I wonder how you'd feel when you see the surprise I had planned for your precious boss.”
"What surprise?" I asked, but he simply sighed and the line disconnected.
I stared blankly at my phone for several seconds after the call ended.
What other plan did he have? I shook my head to dispel my worries.
My father never told me anything about his plans, except he needed me to work or spy or steal information.
My brother’s face flashed briefly in my mind...laughing, grease on his hands from working motorcycles, talking nonstop about engines and racing before everything went wrong.
Fuck... I missed him so much even though it was already three years since he died by suicide, since Sean Davis destroyed him.
Or at least… that was the version my father had repeated so many times it became impossible to separate truth from the heartbreak and hatred.
The intercom on my desk buzzed suddenly and Sean's voice came through sounding as tired and frustrated as I knew my existence was making him.
“Meet me at the private elevator. Now."
My heart skipped in my chest... He was the only one who used the private elevator, why the hell would he need me there?"
The elevator doors opened and he joined me as we both entered it. I watched as he pressed the key for the down floor, one hand in his pocket while reading something on his phone. Even irritated and exhausted, he somehow looked unfairly fucking attractive.
I followed quickly, confused.
“Mr. Davis?”
“The printer in my office is down, and if you were doing your job correctly, you would have known that, so you'll follow me downstairs while I print the documentsI need. Do you have any objections, Miss Princeton?” he said flatly.
Of course he did.
The doors slid shut, and immediately, my stomach tightened. Being in the same small space with him was getting my lady parts in a fucking twist.
Calm your wet cunt, Rihanna, what if the poor man smells your fucking arousal?
The elevator suddenly jerked violently beneath us.
A sharp metallic sound echoed somewhere above the ceiling, followed by a horrible grinding noise that made my stomach drop.
“What the fuck was that?” I breathed.
The elevator swayed roughly, throwing me on the ground, while Sean held on tightly to the iron beams on the side.
"Oh hell no" I said again, panic rising in my chest
The lights flickered twice, before the elevator stopped completely.
My pulse instantly spiked.
No.
No no no.
Sean gathered himself from where he was leaning with immediate irritation, already pressing the emergency button beside the panel, but nothing happened. Which was impossible. Sean's private elevator was a rare, foreign brand, that should not go faulty all of a sudden...
Just like his printer.
That was too much of a coincidence.
My heart was doing fucking cartwheels at this point.
My blood ran cold so fast it made me dizzy, only one person could create such coincidences. Only one person would want Sean Davis to be in this elevator right now...
Suddenly, my father’s words from earlier slammed back into my head.
"I wonder how you'd feel when you see the surprise I had planned for your precious boss"
Holy shit...my father was going to kill Sean Davis and I was standing in the same box as the fucking target.
Power crackled from Elara like wildfire, her hair was blazing bright, her eyes were glowing silver-blue. The marble beneath her feet began to crack and splinter in the shape of a web around her feet. The light coming from her coiled tighter around Liliana, lifting her slightly off the floor like a rag doll, choking on her own gasp.Riven stood now, and though his face remained unreadable, Elara felt his energy shift, ready, controlled, watching her closely.Elara wanted to stop, to reel in her power, but she could still hear Liliana’s words. She could still hear that dismissive tone...she could still see that smirk. The idea that she would always be a toy in someone else’s hands.No. Not anymore.Elara took another step forward, her breath ragged, her chest rising with every surge of magic coursing through her. The air in the throne room was alive now—sparking, humming, furious. The werewolves closest to her dropped their eyes or flinched.“I am not something to be broken,” she said,

My heart hurt at his words, but something else he said rang in my head.“I have told you I do not have a mother! I don’t know who you’re taking me to, but I’m not going to meet some stranger!”I planted my feet firmly on the ground, refusing to move.Thorne glanced down at me. “Are you planning to stay here all day?”“Yes! And if you try to drag me, I’ll make you regret the day you were born!”“With those weak legs? I’d like to see you try.”Before I could respond, he bent down, grabbed me, and flung me over his shoulder.“Put me down, you humongous, pompous, disgusting pig!”I pounded his back with my fists and kicked my legs, but he barely reacted.“Thorne, I’m warning you!”“You’re welcome to keep trying, Princess. Perhaps you’ll manage to bruise my back before you exhaust yourself.”I kicked harder, determined to wipe that arrogance off his face. Instead, he raised his free hand and gave my ass a sharp slap.I went completely still.“By the Moon! Did you just spank me like a child
