Alarick opened his eyes slowly, the world around him blurry and out of focus. His head felt heavy, like it was filled with lead, and a loud noise reverberated inside his skull. He brought a hand to his head, trying to steady himself as he sat up. When his vision cleared, he found himself in an unfamiliar place, in a dimly lit room with candles as the only source of light.

Confused and disoriented, he looked around for any sign of where he was or how he got there. That's when he saw a familiar face, Morgana. She was standing few steps away from him, watching him with a mix of concern and relief.

Alarick blinked a few times to clear his head and then called out to her. "Morgana, what happened? Where am I?"

Morgana's eyes widened in surprise at the sound of his voice. She rushed to his side and hugged him tightly, tears streaming down her face.
