Chapter 9.

I walked gently behind the four ladies and they kept quiet like they were dumb. All they did was to lead me to wherever Jace Steele was.

The more we walked, the more I could perceive his whiff which was very strong and the stronger it got, my heart slowed down.

"Drop it already?"

I groaned as I could gradually feel Raven (my wolf) get agile.

I could feel the excitement in her as she kept on pacing in my head and wagging her fluffy tail.

We were closely bonded that the slightest movement she made I could feel it and after the last time I heard her say that word, "MATE" she had dropped weak and now again, I could feel the excitement.

"I hope his wolf gets to like me!"

"Can you just stop with your daydreaming already?"

I snapped her out of that thought of Jace's wolf getting to like her.

"He knew you all along and yet, still had the mind to torture us."

I scoffed as I kept moving.

And right now, I could tell that we were very close to where he was.

"C'mon, don't be such a killjoy."
