Chapter 11 Who Was That Man?

Author: cici
William was very charming when he smiled. But all of a sudden, he became emotionless, as if he had changed into another person.

Valeria felt a little scared and continued to ask nervously, "You're being paid to do this, aren't you?"

"No way!" William was really angry.

Did this stupid woman take him as the partner of the woman who had set her up?

Valeria was irritated when the pimp denied so confidently and asked, "Then why were you on my bed? Are you sure that you haven't accepted Ashley's money? Aren't people of your profession paid to do that kind of thing?"

"That kind of people? Which kind of people, huh?" William became a little displeased.

He realized what was going on immediately after he heard what Valeria said. Now she thought that he was involved in the conspiracy and regarded him as a pimp.

William was speechless. How could there be such a handsome and rich pimp like him in the world?

He was amused by Valeria, who was turly innocent.

Seeing his reaction, Valeria became more annoyed and said, "What are you laughing at? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

Now William couldn't laugh anymore, and he replied seriously, "I don't know the woman you mentioned. The truth was that I helped you out of danger!"

But Valeria thought that he was talking nonsense, "Then why didn't you take me to the hospital?"

"I did, but you held me so tight at that time and I had no choice but to..."

William felt a bit guilty when he said so. He did not mean to take advantage of her at the beginning.

When he saw that Valeria was taken to the room by the pimp, he ordered the bodyguards to knock the pimp out, and was prepared to send her to the hospital.

However, Valeria could no longer control herself at that time. She kept cuddling him. William couldn't stand her temptation and had sex with her finally.

But Valeria did not believe William at all, and affirmed that he and Ashley set her up together.

She was so angry and didn't say anything with a poker face.

Seeing Valeria become more grouchy, William stopped explaining. After a while, they arrived at the parking lot of the Central South Building.

Valeria got out of the car after saying thanks angrily. William felt a bit unhappy due to her rudeness.

After he had explained so much, she still didn't believe him at all.

William sat in the car and watched her leave in a hurry. Then he took out a cigarette to light it.

Just a few seconds later, he saw Valeria stop suddenly as she approached the entrance to the South Tower.

As Valeria rushed to the building, someone stopped her with an annoying voice, "Valeria!"

She turned around and saw Ashley getting out of a white Porsche.

"Valeria, are you also here for Dad?" Ashley put a smirk on her face.

Hearing Ashley call Ronald daddy in such a natural way, Valeria felt extremely uncomfortable.

She looked at Ashley coldly without saying a word. And Mason got out of the car as well.

Ashley held his hand affectionately, "Mason and I also come here for Dad. How about we go together? By the way, Valeria, I just saw you getting out of a man's car. Who's that man?"

  • That Stranger Lying Beside Me   Chapter 1748 The End

On the day of Azalea's recovery, she was escorted out of the hospital by two police officers to wait for her sentence. She was wearing shackles and handcuffs as she walked through the parking lot. She saw Michael with Abbie, who was holding Emma in her arms. Michael was holding Abbie's waist, ready to get into their car. Seeing that Michael had recovered, Azalea was extremely perplexed. She had learned from the police that Leonard's man had tried to kill her to silence her and knew that Leonard was using her, so she did not regret her vicious behavior. Azalea stared at the child in Abbie's arms and Michael as she started to have vicious thoughts. If the one who got injured that day was Abbie, and if Abbie died, everything would be different now, wouldn't it? Michael would be living a life worse than death. His child would not have a mother anymore, and no one could have what she couldn't. She would be satisfied. However, all of this was just her imaginatio

After Leonard's matter was settled, Richard returned to the Clark family. Abbie wasn't asleep yet and was sitting alone in the living room in a daze. Richard walked to her and sat down. Then, he reached out and patted her on the shoulder. "Why aren't you asleep yet?" "I can't sleep. Richard, he... he will be fine, won't he?" "Don't think too much. He will be fine." "I don't want anything to happen to him... Richard, I actually hate him very much and have never thought of being with him again. I have suffered enough! Every time I made up my mind to cut all ties with him, something bad would happen like what happened now. Richard, what should I do?" Richard understood Abbie's dilemma. "Abbie, do you still love him?" "I don't know! I hate him! I hate him so much!" "You can't let him go, can you? You and he broke up three times, but he has always been in your heart." Richard sighed. "To be honest, I don't want you and him to start over again. After

It was late at night in Azalea's ward as she lay on the bed and fell asleep with her eyes closed. Three of Azalea's ribs were broken while one of her hands was handcuffed to the hospital bed. The policeman guarding her felt that there was no way she could escape, so he relaxed his guard. The man who was arranged by Leonard's assistant had been waiting for the right moment in the hospital. Then, they immediately entered the ward and attacked Azalea when they saw that the policeman had left. Just as they covered Azalea's mouth and were about to suffocate her to death, a soft voice could be heard by the door of the ward. "Hey! Are you trying to silence her?" The man turned his head and saw that Bobby were taking photos with his mobile phone while Silas was bent over in laughter. Later, Leonard was woken up at 2 a.m. in the morning when Richard and his bodyguards came to visit him furiously. Leonard had already guessed the purpose of Richard's visit as soon as

  • That Stranger Lying Beside Me   Chapter 1745 Despise Abbie

It had been two days since Leonard's assistant brought Azalea back to the city and she was specially sent here today to attack Michael. Although Azalea hated Michael, she did love him immensely in the past and she didn't want to kill him. The one she hated the most was still Abbie. She had been overshadowed by Abbie since she was a child and she had never won against her before. It was all thanks to Abbie now that she ended up like this. Michael wouldn't deal with her if it weren't for Abbie, and she wouldn't have been driven to a dead end like this. She was going to die in the end anyway, so she wanted nothing more than to drag Abbie down with her. She knew that she couldn't get close to Abbie. Besides, she also knew very well that Leonard wanted to use her to kill Michael so that he could marry Abbie. Azalea acted as if she had been persuaded by Leonard's assistant to attack Michael, but in fact, her target was Abbie all along. She saw how desperat

Azalea looked up when she heard the voice and met Leonard's assistant's gaze in the car. She stopped crying once he got out of the car. "Miss Clark, I've been looking for you everywhere!" Azalea lowered her head frantically when she saw him, but he said warmly, "Miss Clark, get in the car." She didn't know if Leonard's assistant knew about the murder she'd committed, so she hesitated for a moment before getting into the car. He then gave her a bottle of water and some food. Azalea was famished because she hadn't eaten anything for a few days, so she wolfed down her food desperately. Leonard's assistant had been observing Azalea all this time, and he said once she finished eating, "I know what you've done! The police are now looking for you everywhere." Azalea's expression was filled with panic. "Are you going to hand me over to the police?" "No, I'm here to help you." "How can you do that?" Azalea asked in frustration. "I won't be a

It started to rain again early in the morning, which made the air in the mountains damp and cold. Meanwhile, Azalea lay motionlessly on the messy bed. She could hear the child's wailing from outside while Monthel's mother tried to coax the child. However, there was no sign of it ending even after some time. Monthel's mother started to become angry as well, so she scolded the child and eventually began to target Azalea again. "Why are you still lying in bed at this time? I've never seen someone as lazy as you. A wife should get up early in the morning to cook, but you are the only one who will laze around like this!" This was not the first time that Azalea had been scolded. Monthel's mother had begun to pick on her the second day after she arrived. Azalea would fight back initially, but she no longer dared to talk back after she was slapped in the face by Monthel. Monthel's mother cursed outside for a while. Then, she lifted the curtain and came into the ro
