(Aria's POV)

The cold was unbearable, seeping through every inch of me. I couldn’t stop trembling as consciousness drifted in and out like waves crashing against the shore.

My eyelids felt like lead, but I forced them open with effort. As my surroundings came into focus, the sensation of the swaying vehicle beneath me became clearer.

I blinked slowly, startled by the fact that I was lying on a leather seat inside a massive vehicle. The muted hum of the engine confirmed it was moving, but it took me several moments to realize I wasn’t alone.

Derek.

His presence hit me like a punch to the chest. He sat across from me, his imposing frame practically vibrating with tension.

His icy blue eyes bore down on me, sharp and unyielding, but beyond the coldness in his glare, something darker simmered inside him. Rage.

He knew.

I struggled to sit up, my body weak and betraying me. My arms shook violently as I pushed against the smooth seat beneath me.

I could feel every ounce of exhaustion

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver's Vengeance

(Derek's POV)My phone vibrated. Samuel Gray's number flashed on the screen."I'll be there in twenty minutes, Alpha Silverstone," he said, his beta voice steady and reliable as always."Make it fifteen," I replied, ending the call without waiting for his response.I stood at the window of my private den, gazing out at the brightly lit Silverstone Pack estate. The sprawling grounds, manicured to perfection, gleamed under the moonlight. My ice-blue eyes narrowed with hatred. This feeling wasn't new. I'd harbored this resentment toward the main Silverstone territory since childhood. The beautiful landscaping, the impressive architecture—all of it disguised the rot beneath. A pack ruled by a monster.Victoria Silverstone had destroyed what was precious to me. Now I would do the same to her."An eye for an eye," I murmured, my voice barely audible even to my enhanced wolf hearing. "A life for a life."I moved to my private bathroom, unwrapping the bloodstained bandages from my wris

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver's Vengeance

(Derek's POV)The silence that followed my mother's departure felt suffocating. I stood motionless, my bandaged wrists throbbing beneath the wolfsbane-infused dressings, a constant reminder of my failed attempt to join Aria in the ancestral hunting grounds.Sarah lay on the silver-reinforced floor where my mother's enhanced pack guards had thrown her after bringing her to my estate. Her face was bruised, lip split, formal pack robes torn – all evidence of Victoria Silverstone's "persuasion" methods.I turned to Marcus Steel, my beta housekeeper, who stood nearby. His face had drained of all color after witnessing the confrontation between me and my mother. His beta wolf was clearly terrified, eyes darting between Sarah's injured form and my cold expression."Get a pack healer for Sarah," I commanded, careful to keep my overwhelming alpha presence tightly controlled. After my near-death experience, my wolf was dangerously unstable, prone to flares of power that could harm weaker wol

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Mother's Cruel Game

(Derek's POV)Time seemed to slow as I stared at Dr. Reed's battered form on the floor. His beta wolf presence flickered weakly from the silver burns covering his body. The silver dagger felt heavy in my hand, its deadly edge still pressed against my uncle's throat.I could end him now. One quick slash would send Richard Cole to the ancestral hunting grounds. A fitting punishment for trying to drown me in silver-infused water when I was just a cub. The memory burned sharp in my mind—the fire in my lungs, my wolf's silent scream as silver poisoned our bond. But Aria's face flashed before me. Her violet eyes filled with that gentle understanding that always made my wolf whimper. What would she think of me now, ready to kill my own uncle out of rage?My gaze shifted to Dr. Reed again. His lips moved, forming silent words through his pain: "Don't...do it."Alexander Blackwood and Sarah Rivers were the most important people to Aria. If I killed Richard, my mother would attack them. I c

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Mother's Cruelty

(Dr. Reed's POV)I jerked awake, a silent scream lodged in my throat. The nightmare had returned—Cassandra Silverstone's face contorted in agony, her wolf fading as silver poison coursed through her veins. Victoria Silverstone standing over her, that same terrible smile I'd seen today. My hands trembled as I wiped cold sweat from my forehead. The silver burns on my body throbbed, a visceral reminder of my current predicament. Three days of torture at Victoria Silverstone's command had left me weak, my beta wolf whimpering inside me.The pack healing chamber where they kept me was more prison than medical facility. Moonlight filtered through the wolfsbane-infused window, casting eerie shadows across the silver-reinforced floor. The door remained locked, guards posted outside—not to protect me, but to ensure I couldn't escape.I stared at my reflection in the polished silver surface of the medical tray. My face was nearly unrecognizable, bruised and burned from Victoria's "questionin

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   A Cruel Choice

(Derek's POV)I felt Samuel's panic before I heard his warning. His beta scent soured with fear as he urgently whispered, "Alpha Silverstone, hide the photograph. Your mother is coming."My fingers lingered on the image of Aria, her silver hair catching the light, her violet eyes gazing directly at the camera with that rare, genuine smile she so seldom showed. The one I'd secretly captured when she wasn't looking."What does it matter now?" I asked, my voice hollow. "My omega mate is dead."There was nothing left for me to fear. My wolf had already suffered the ultimate loss. What more could they possibly take from me?"Since they refused to let me die from silver poisoning," I continued, "I'll live. And they'll learn the consequences of saving a vengeful alpha."Samuel's face paled. "Alpha Silverstone, please—"The sound of claws clicking on the silver-reinforced floor grew louder, each step increasing Samuel's dread. I could smell his fear, sharp and acrid in the dim room of m

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver Regrets

(Derek's POV)I jerked awake with a gasp, my heart pounding against my ribcage. The nightmare clung to me like a second skin, more vivid than any dream I'd experienced in centuries of alpha life.In it, Aria stood before me, her silver hair gleaming in the moonlight, violet eyes filled with a serene acceptance that chilled me to my core."Take a picture of me," she'd said, her omega voice gentle yet firm. "As a memento before our contract expires."Even in the dream, I'd felt a surge of possessive need. "Anything," I'd promised. "Ask me for anything, and I'll give it."Her smile had been soft, tinged with something I couldn't identify. "Then later... may we be separated by the vastness of the hunting grounds and ancestral forests, never to cross paths again in life or death."Her words had cut deeper than any silver blade. The realization that she desired eternal separation—to never encounter me again, even in the afterlife—had shattered something fundamental within me.I blinke
