Silver's Denial

Author: Stella YX
(Derek's POV)

The weight of Sarah's words crushed me like a physical blow. I stood frozen in Aria's apartment, the echoes of her accusations ringing in my ears.

"She's gone, Derek. Aria is dead," Sarah repeated, her beta voice trembling with barely contained fury. "She underwent the Silver Return ritual yesterday. It's done."

I shook my head, unable to accept what she was saying. My ice-blue eyes darted around the empty apartment, searching for any trace of silver hair, any whisper of violet eyes.

"No. Alexander would never allow it," I argued, grasping at straws. "He loved her too much. He would have tried to save her."

Sarah's bitter laugh cut through the air.

"It wasn't his decision to make. It was Aria's request to undergo the Silver Return immediately after her wolf faded," she spat, her beta wolf bristling with protective rage. "Her final wish was to return to the ancestral hunting grounds as quickly as possible."

The implication struck me like a silver dagger. Aria had be

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Despair

(Alexander's POV)I raced through the rain-slicked streets toward Sarah's apartment, my heart pounding with worry. The confrontation at Aria's silver memorial site had left me shaken, not just from the raw grief that had consumed me since her passing, but now from fear for Sarah's safety. Derek Silverstone had dragged her away with such unrestrained fury that I feared what he might do.After breaking free from Samuel Gray's restraint, I had ordered my enhanced pack guards to secure transportation and headed straight for Sarah's apartment. The journey felt agonizingly slow, even with the driver pushing the limits of the pack territory speed regulations. When I finally arrived, I burst through the door without knocking, my golden eyes scanning the modest living space frantically."Sarah?" I called out, my alpha voice tense with concern.Relief washed over me when I spotted her sitting on the living room sofa. Her eyes were red and swollen from crying, but she appeared physically unh

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Regret

(Derek's POV)I couldn't bear to let Sarah see me like this—an alpha reduced to such a pathetic state. I covered my eyes with my hand, feeling the warm mixture of blood and tears seeping between my fingers. My claws had dug so deeply into my palms that they'd drawn blood, and now that blood mingled with something I hadn't experienced in decades—tears. The familiar weight of my overwhelming alpha presence felt fractured, splintering around me like shards of silver. My wolf, usually so controlled, howled in anguish inside me, a sound I couldn't release without shattering what little composure I had left."You're bleeding," Sarah observed, her voice flat.I didn't respond. What was physical pain compared to this crushing weight in my chest?Sarah left the room briefly, returning with something in her hand. Her beta wolf was still bristling with protective fury, but her expression had shifted slightly."If it weren't for this, I would never have let you into our den," she said coldly

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver's Denial

(Third person's POV)The night air hung heavy with tension at the Silver Return Ceremonial Grounds. Alexander Blackwood's words about Aria's death lingered in the space between them, each syllable striking Derek Silverstone like physical blows. His fingers curled tightly into fists, claws digging into his palms until thin rivulets of silver-essence blood trickled between his knuckles. The physical pain couldn't begin to compete with the agonizing ache that spread through his chest—a pain unlike anything he had ever experienced in his long life as an alpha. It radiated outward from his heart, a jolt reminiscent of silver poisoning, leaving every nerve ending throbbing with raw grief.Yet even as the pain threatened to overwhelm him, Derek's mind refused to accept the reality before him. His ice-blue eyes, usually cold and calculating, were now bloodshot and wild with fury and denial."This is absurd," he growled, his overwhelming alpha presence crackling with barely contained emotio

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver's Denial

(Derek's POV)The scent of burnt silver ash hung heavy in the night air as I approached the ceremonial grounds. My enhanced pack guards fanned out behind me, securing the perimeter with practiced efficiency. Their presence created an immediate shift in the atmosphere - a clear statement of my authority as Silverstone Pack heir.I spotted Alexander Blackwood and the beta female - Sarah Rivers - standing by a memorial alcove. The moonlight illuminated their faces, etching their expressions in stark relief. Alexander's posture was rigid with hostility, his golden eyes bloodshot and hollow with what appeared to be grief. This charade had gone far enough."Where is she?" I demanded, my voice cutting through the silence of the sacred grounds.Alexander's lip curled in disdain. "You're too late, Silverstone. Much too late."Sarah Rivers stepped forward, her beta presence bristling with protective fury. "How dare you come here? After everything you've done?"I ignored her, focusing my i

  • The Alpha King Begged His Omega to Come Back   Silver Farewell

(Third Person's POV)The night air held a crisp chill as Alexander Blackwood stood at the sacred Silver Return site, his broad shoulders silhouetted against the moonlight that bathed Windsor Pack Territory below. He had chosen this location with painful deliberation—the ceremonial ground overlooking the mountains where he and Aria had once laughed together, her silver hair catching the sunlight as she pointed to distant peaks.Alexander's golden eyes, now bloodshot from grief, gazed at the silver urn clutched against his chest. His alpha presence, usually overwhelming and controlled, now wavered with raw emotion."Little wolf," he whispered, using her orphanage pack name as his fingers caressed the cool metal of the urn. "Remember when we came here? You made me promise to bring you back often."The wind carried his words away into the darkness. Memories flooded back—Aria's violet eyes widening with delight at the view, her soft omega voice exclaiming over wildflowers that grew alon
