Do you love Papa?

Evening comes, Hazel and Theo are still in the bedroom. They are both laying down on bed while the lady is busy reading a story book to the little boy. Theo snuggled under the blanket with his head out looking up at Hazel.

“Mama, do you love Papa like the princess in the story?” He innocently asked.

Hazel paused for a second. She didn’t know what she was going to answer. Kids are curious and she did not want to ruin her reputation or Axel. The princess in the story sacrificed her royalty just to be with the poor prince.

With this thought, Hazel’s eyebrows knitted. It’s supposed to be Axel who looks like the princess’ character. While she is like the prince, poor and ugly.

“Are you not hungry?” She asked, slowly closing the book while changing the topic. “We already read a lot of stories, Mama is a little tired.” she added.

Theo crawled out from the blanket and gave her a tight hug. After that, a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you, Mama.” He whispered.
