Marcus POV

Slamming the door to the station shut behind me in temper, I turn too quickly and spill hot coffee all over my shirt and scald my hand. I resist the urge to throw the disposable cup at the opposite wall as hard as I can in temper. Instead, I kick the trash bin beside me, sending it careening across the floor into a desk, before landing on its side and emptying balled-up bits of paper all over the floor. My attempts at writing up a draft report earlier on the attack were a complete waste of time because my head was all over the place.
