Miriam had sauntered inside the house to glimpse her son answering the house call line. She quickly trudged towards him before collecting the phone from him.

"Henry, who were you talking to?" She asked him.

"I don't know, he says he wants to talk to you!" Her son responded as she slowly placed the phone to her ear.

"Hello, who is on the line?" Miriam uttered questionably on the phone.

"Who was that kid who answered the phone, Miriam? Is he your son with Carlos or is he the rapist's son?" The caller asked and that had left Miriam beyond shocked.

She blinked her eyes before responding.

"You have nothing better to do with your life, you shouldn't have to mess with other people's lives too!" Miriam told the stranger on the phone.
