“He successfully infiltrated the castle and poisoned me, almost killing me”

I revealed and Maya’s eyes went wide with fear and I chuckled.

“I’m alive Maya, I didn’t die”

I teased and she playfully hit my chest, sighing in relief.

“What happened next?”

She asked.

“Nothing”

I chuckled.

“He disappeared again, going into hiding until two days ago at the banquet where he suddenly revealed himself”

I added, my eyes narrowing.

“And that’s the end of the story Maya”

I concluded and Maya sighed.

“Wow, that was quite a story”

She commented, intrigued by the story and I smiled.

“It’s late your highness, you should go to bed, it’s been a long day for you today”

I reminded and she nodded, a yawn escaping her mouth and I chuckled.

“You see, you’re tired, have some rest”

“Goodnight Logan”

She whispered, adjusting to a more comfortable position in my arms before closing her eyes to sleep.
