Ryan’s POVShe looked at me like I was mad, but I just wanted to see her smile. Truly smile, like the days when I first met her.Holding her flush against me, I continue to spin us in the heavy rain, just as thunder claps above us. Her fingers grip my soaking shirt and just for a moment she tenses up and she pushes herself against me.It’s not long before I hear her giggles of joy and honestly, it was the best thing that I had heard. As the rain starts to slow, she rushes inside, squeezing the water out of her dark hair but the smile was still on her face. Aria’s POVWith Elijah, it was when he touched me, the mate bond would drive me insane. With Ryan, I only had to look at him and it was sending my senses into overdrive. I just hoped he would stay downstairs. Sex was not part of the deal. I only agreed to let him mark me. I wanted to believe what Tala was saying, I wanted to trust that she was right. That Ryan’s mark would remove Elijah’s and maybe, just maybe, there would be less poison of his in my body. Hi everyone, thank you so much for reading. I really do appreciate it and all the comments that I have received. I just want to let you know that this book is not over, far from it! I am just taking a short break to sort out some other commitments, in the mean time, I have other stories that you are more than welcome to take a look at. Part two will continue on from here and I'm sure in time that it will resolve some of the burning questions you may have. Date is to be confirmed but I am aiming for the 10/11/22.
