Aria’s POV

I felt like I was losing the plot as I stared at Elijah, I was hot, aroused and annoyed all at the same time.

Elijah doesn’t answer my question immediately as he stares back at me wide eyed.

“Not the Old Moon!” I glare at him, my teeth clenched together as I tried to keep myself from lunging at him.

The Old Moon mating thing lasted twenty four hours whereas my need to mate had passed seventy six hours. I had hardly slept, hardly eaten and in a desperate attempt to understand what was going on, I tried to keep myself away from Elijah.

“I don’t know. Maybe because you have been keeping yourself away from me!”

I see the lust in his darkening eyes, his nostrils flaring slightly as my aroused scent filled his nostrils.

“Like I said Aria, maybe I can help you with that!” He steps towards the bed and leans down over me as a wave of giddiness rolls through me. His scent was muskier than normal, but the closer he was, the wetter I was becoming.
