Aria’s POV

I spent the night throwing up. Unable to keep anything down. I could see the looks of pity I was getting from Ryan. Both Ryan and Atlas would take turns trying to reassure me, offering me drinks as often as they could or words of encouragement.

I knew they were both worried. I was too. It wasn’t right, the amount of fluid that was coming out of me.

“This can’t be normal.” I groan as I wash my mouth out for what seemed like the hundredth time.

“You’re pregnant, it’s to be expected.” Ryan smiles at me as he rubs my back.

“How would you know? It’s not like you can get pregnant! I’m only like a day pregnant. How is it even possible to feel like this already?”

“Aria, we have been over this. We are not human, pregnancy does not last as long, it means you are going to experience things a lot faster than humans.”

He gives me a glass of milk. “This might settle your stomach.”

“Milk?”

“I read it online.” He shrugs his shoulders at me.
