Aria’s POV

“Aria, I told you to stay put.”

I don’t answer him as he calls out to me. Quickly walking away as he continues to shout my name.

Diving into the bedroom, I had no idea what I planned to achieve. I had just watched Atlas rip Mel’s throat out, like it was nothing.

It’s for the best!

Tala was all for murdering Mel. To her, it was just an added bonus that Atlas had done it first.

'I didn't say that I didn't enjoy watching it!' Truth was I enjoyed every moment of her slow death and the way her blood had beautifully trickled down her skin and onto Atlas.

The door flies open, smacking against the wall as Atlas barges in. He comes to a stand still when he sees me just standing there. He raises an eyebrow at me, keeping his mouth shut. Slowly, he turns around and closes the door.

“You came to our bedroom.” He mutters, still facing the door. “You didn’t run?”
