Alpha Elijah’s POV

Why had Simon been so stupid, there was just no need for Aria to know, not now her father was dead. Simon had removed all the good images that Aria had of her father. Her knowledge of her father may have been a lie, but now, he had ruined her memories.

“So it's true? He didn’t help you?”

Her green eyes are watery. I didn’t want her to find out like this.

“No.”

“But you tried?”

“Yes. First I sent Simon and then as the war grew closer, I asked. I thought he might have been interested. Our packs are only divided by a river.”

She shakes her head muttering the word ‘no’ over and over.

“He just wouldn’t!”

Simon mouths ‘sorry’ at me and quickly makes an exit.

“My father wouldn’t. He was a good man!”

I weigh up my options and figure that I might as well just try and tell her everything.

“It’s not the only thing, little wolf.”

“What do you mean?”

“The pack that attacked us. It was none other than Crimson Pack, led by Ryan’s father!”
