Thea My body practically vibrates with excitement when my alarm goes off. Knox I slam my fists into the heavy bag repeatedly. The chains jingle, and the support in the ceiling groans with each punch. Harnessing all of my anger, I land one last blow and the bag drops to the ground. I push my sweat-drenched locks back and draw in a deep breath, trying to calm myself. Knox My breathing is quiet, my heart rate is slow, and my wolf is pressed flat to the ground behind a large boulder next to a dead deer.
