Chapter 59

Calla's POV

As I descended into the dark, damp dungeon, I could feel the stench and musty air engulfing me. The ground was damp and slippery, and the walls were cold and wet to the touch. It was a terrible place, and I could see why the apprehended wolves looked so miserable.

The wolves were shackled and guarded by two of our strongest pack members. As I approached them, the wolves sneered and growled at me, but I remained calm and composed. I took a deep breath, trying to ignore the stench, and stepped closer to the wolves.

"Who sent you to attack us?" I asked sternly.

The wolves laughed mockingly. "Why should we tell you, little girl?" one of them said, his voice dripping with disdain.

I could feel my temper rising, but I refused to let them see it. "I am the acting Alpha, and you will show me the respect I deserve," I said firmly.

The wolves continued to sneer at me, and I knew I had to take a different approach. I decided to focus on one of them, a bigger and more intimidating one
