Fifty Two

Calla's POV

As I left Lucian back at the dinning room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of regret wash over me. I knew I had hurt him, but I couldn't bring myself to apologize. It wasn't that I didn't want to, but I just couldn't find the words to say. I knew I had to sort out my own feelings before I could even attempt to make things right between us.

As I walked into my room, my mind was racing with thoughts. I knew I couldn't just sit here and do nothing. I needed to figure out a plan of action, something to help me sort through my feelings and get to the bottom of everything that was happening.

I began to reason with myself, questioning if what Alpha Roland told me about Lucian's lifestyle was true. I couldn't help but feel skeptical, but at the same time, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something off about Lucian. I needed to find out the truth.
