After a Fight.

Rita’s POV

I’m not completely over it, I’m hurt, but the fact that Grace chose me and promised not to visit Garret does help. He’s a dumbass who doesn’t know a good thing when it’s staring him in the face. Basically, he’s a man.

I tell him what happened and he looked a little jealous that I get to talk to Grace, but he kept his trap shut.

“We need to get the kids to Disney our family is waiting” I say finally.

“I’m sorry I hurt you.” Garret meant it. He was sorry.

“We can discuss it later. But you are a dumbass.” I kiss his cheek and wait for him downstairs.

We meet Father, George, Melinda, Frank and Francis at the gate.

I seriously was excited as Gracie and G got to meet their favorite characters and ride rides.

Garret and I did okay faking it. We do love each other, so it wasn’t all fake. We took some great family photos. Usually, I held Gracie and he held G so we didn’t touch much. But the kids didn’t seem to notice.
