From a distance, we watched as the fumes from the dungeon below curled in the air. I could only imagine the people who couldn’t get saved inside the dungeon at this moment. My mind was fogged with so many things. I was completely clueless of what just happened inside.
Kate had just attempted to get rid of me and him.
Panting, I directed my gaze to Caleb’s.
On a spot, we were horrified from whatever had just happened now. He directed his eyes to mine. With a shaky hand, he pointed to my hand. My eyes directed to them too, examining it. They looked pale and whitish.
“Y-Your hands, C-Celly...” he let out in a shaky voice.
I cleared my voice before speaking, bracing myself up from the fact that we just almost died.
“I know... I have no idea of what just happened, believe me.” I muttered, presently unsure. It was all like someone placed me in an unfamiliar place, leaving me to figure out everything about that place.
