Chapter Sixteen

Dennis ended his call with Troy and went back into the kitchen where he met Kesley washing up the dishes they used in eating. "I hope you enjoyed the food?" He said as he strolled to where she was standing, he collected the plate from her and helped her rinse it, clean it up and place it on the sink.

Kesley found it absurd but relaxed and smiled at him. " I did, although I wasn't expecting it to turn out nice, you've proved yourself to be a good chef."

Dennis turned his face to hide his grin from her but Kesley caught him and burst into laughter. "You can say that again."

The both of them kept making small talks whilst they cleaned up the kitchen.
