Wolfe

Angered, Kaya walked out of the diner and I felt pretty guilty. I didn't like him being mad or upset because of me and I didn't know how to fix it.

I wanted him to mark me more than anything, but I was also concerned about his safety. It wouldn't be long before the people of this town figured out what I was and when that day came I didn't want him pulled into any of it.

Not so long ago he got kidnapped and nearly experimented on just for being an omega. What would they do if they found out he was a werewolf too? He had no control over his abilities yet and still needed to learn how to fight in his wolf form. If I let him mark me, they would know what he is, what we were.

It still didn't feel right and Kaya wasn't the only one mad at me. So was my inner wolf too.

So I left the bill and asked the waitress to put the food into a container as I wasn't going to waste it. I also took a mental note to tell Kaya about this small job I got.
