Chapter 19

Macey sat up on her bed in the ward, and glanced at her child one more time. Seeing the baby makes her want to see his father again. She feels somehow happy that she had kept the pregnancy and didn't abort the child in the first place. Because the child looks so much like his father, and somehow she felt that the stranger didn't fully leave him, since his son was there with her now. Now she would have to resume back to her work in the club. She actually sent Anna out of the ward so she could have some time to herself. She needed to dwell in her thoughts for a while, and Anna was like a distraction to her but since she was out of the way, she was now able to concentrate on her thoughts. But though she was sure that Anna would walk into the ward any moment, it was best if she didn't think too deeply.
