Unexpected but mind-blowing kiss

Alpha Zeus’ POV

I knocked again and pressed the bell at the same time. When no response came, I assumed she was deep in her sleep. Maybe I should just go and give her a call later to know how she was. No! I would not call her. She would get the wrong idea. I was just about to turn and walk away from the door when I heard a click. Oh, it appeared she heard the knock. I stopped and positioned myself properly. But when the door opened, a wave of confusion swept right across my face.

A lady, who was not by any means Kayla, stepped out of the room. On seeing me, she tilted her head down in a low bow. That was something Kayla might have sworn that come rain come shine, she would not do for me. She was just someone who had no slightest, not even the faintest trace of fear for me.

"Alpha Zeus Ludendorff, I greet you."

I studied her for a short while. I could not recollect anywhere in my thoughts that the room Kayla stayed in would be changed. So, who was this person and what was she doing
