Chapter Twenty Four

Kelvin had a blank look on his face the next morning when Sia showed up without Samantha. He furrowed his brows at Sia who was puzzled as to why he was looking at her like that.

“You allowed her to leave?” Kelvin asked a grim look on his face while Sia chuckled realizing what Kelvin seemed to be angry about.

“She wanted to meet her grandfather” Sia replied and Kelvin sighed softly.

“That prick of a human” he muttered, offering an apology with his eyes before walking away. Sia chuckled seating down on her seat and placing her head on the table. Thanks to Samantha; her insomnia hadn’t acted up the night before and she had gotten some sort of sleep.

Turning her head; she realized that Nate’s bag wasn’t on the seat or anything that showed that he was around. Ever since Nate became her seatmate; she had always met his bag on the seat. She always came to school late and Nate always came early.
