Amara was on her way back home and waiting for the school boss, Roland was driving back home and he saw Amara standing in the school bus stop, he stopped his car and he get down from his car and she went to meet Amara.

“ Hey beautiful, I am Roland Hills, you are the new girl in our classroom” he said and Amara smiled.

“ I know we are classmates and it’s nice to meet you” she said and Roland smiled.

“ Can i give you a ride?” He asked.

“ No thank you, I am waiting for the school bus” she said.

“ You don’t need to pretend like you don’t want me, I am one of the hottest guys in the college and girls don’t rejected me, you should be grateful I offer you a ride” he said and Amara smiled.

“ No girl has ever rejected your offer?” She asked and Roland nodded his head.

“ Yes, no girl has never” he said and Amara smiled.

“ Ok that mean I would be the first ever girl in this college that will reject your offer?”She asked and Roland was surprised.

“ You don’t dare reject my offer” he said in anger.

“ But I already did.” She said and Roland become more angry and he walked closer to her.

“ Move back Roland, only a coward will try to be agressive to a woman” she said and other from the college watch them, the school buss arrived and Amara enters the school bus, the students did not even expect that a new student in the college from a poor background can turn Roland down, some whispered within themselves” I can’t believe that a poor girl like Amara can turned Roland down” some other said that she even talked back at Ivy, Roland heard and he got upset, he entered his car and he drove off in anger.

Few minutes later, the school bus dropped Amara back home, he entered the house and he looked tired, her mother already prepared her lunch.

“ You are back already, I already prepared you your favorite meal” her mum said and Amara walked to the dining to eat.

“ Tell me how was your first day at college today?” Her mother asked.

“ Horrible! A lot of bully because of my background” she said and her mother felt bad.

“ Are you feeling bad about it?” Her mother asked.

“ No, actually mum, I am already used to it” she replied and she ate and her mother felt bad but she didn’t want Amara to know about it so she won’t feel bad too.

It’s was already in the night and Amara study for books, while her mother was at sleep and she remembered about Roland wanted to take advantage of her and how Ivy bullied her.

Roland was sad in his room about how Amara turned him down.

“ I need to teach her some lessons no girl has never rejected me the way she did, I was so embarrassed” he said in anger and his dad heard him speaking to himself and he entered his room and his dad did not noticed.

“ You are upset because a girl rejected you” his father said and Roland looked back and he saw his father.

“ Dad! When did you come in?” He asked and his dad smiled.

“ Some seconds ago, you could not noticed because you were thinking about a girl that rejected you” his father said.

“ You are right that, everyone in the college know that I am a bad guy and no giro has never rejected me, she is a new girl in the college and she is from a poor background, how dare she reject me, to make the situation worse, she made the students laugh at me” he said in anger.

“ Do you wish to have your revenge back on her?” His dad asked.

“ Yes dad, I wish to” he replied his dad and his dad smiled.

“ Worry no more son, you can try to be polite with, draw her attention to yourself of even possible try to apologize to her then graduate she begin to think you have change then you both can be friends then you can do your worst to her so to take your revenge” his dad said and Roland smiled.

“ You are right dad, I never thought about it”he said and his mother entered and yelled at him.

“ Your father is only teaching the wrong way, you should not follow his ways, I beg of you” his mum said in anger.

“ Mum! Dad is right no one dared the Mr Hill’s son”he said and his mum stared at him.

The following day, Amara was already in the classroom earlier, Roland came late and wanted to speak to Amara, Grayson enters the classroom, Ivy was upset, Grayson asked a question and no one in the classroom knew it, Amara stood up and she answered the questions, Grayson was surprised because he didn’t expect any of them to reply the questions, he asked her another question and she answered the question, Grayson was attracted to Amara, during his class with his students, he discovered that Amara was intelligent and smart and he will liked to know more about her, hours after the class, Grayson stopped Amara.

“ I want to see you in my office”he said and he left the classroom, Ivy was upset and wonders why Grayson asked Amara to meet him in his office, Ivy went closer to Amara when she was about to leave the classroom.

“ Wait a minute” Ivy said and she wanted to hit Amara on the face and Roland j’le her hand back and Ivy was surprised.

“ Roland! Why did you have held back my hand, I wanted to teach her a lesson she will never forget in her life, she have to learn to respect me, not only me, even you, I heard the way she turned you down and it has been the talk in the college, are you not ashamed” Ivy said in anger and Roland dropped her hand.

“ It’s not necessary, you hit her Ivy, she is also human like we are, I know that she might be poor and ghetto but we should learn to respect each other, she hasn’t offended anyone in the college, she only defended herself and stood up for herself” Roland said and Ivy was surprised why Roland was talking the good about Amara and Roland smiled.
