Amelia finished making breakfast after the phone call with the manager of the retail store. She made pancakes. She ate hers and packed some to take to the hospital for her dad.

Mr. Clark was really the only person who could make Amelia put an effort into something.

Basically, she knows nothing about the kitchen. But the thought of leaving her dad starving made her try her best to prepare something for him to eat.

Amelia loved her dad so much, probably because they had so much in common.

Mr. Clark was a no nonsense man. He never took shit from anybody. Especially when he was still rich.

Amelia had to watch cooking videos on yutube to learn how to make those pancakes.

They turned out quite well, surprisingly.

After eating, she was too lazy to clean up the kitchen, so she left it dirty.

I guess you can’t really make a person love chores overnight.

She got to the hospital in about 30 minutes and went to her dad’s room straight away.

She rushed in for a hug as entered the room and saw him
