Charles and Aunt Claire were riding in the back of the family’s stretch limousine through Manhattan. The partisan was up to keep Bobby from hearing their conversation. Since Bobby wanted to keep secrets, Charles and Claire were about to prove to him that they were the true masters of the secrecy game.

However, Charles couldn’t believe he let her talk him into this. He pulled at his collar as he continued grumbling.

“Oh, hush,” she said. “You need to straighten up and be seen doing business if you are to get a woman to take you seriously as a long-term companion.” She cleared her throat and whispered, “Especially, if that woman is Jessica. She has spent fourteen years married to a prominent DC attorney with a potential political future. She’ll turn her nose up at a billionaire playboy who lives off his money, drinks excessively, and screws every woman he meets.”
