Chapter 54: Apollo was Missing

After breakfast, Apollo excitedly waited for his dad on the veranda. He was seated on the steel chair, looking at the gate from time to time. However, it's been thirty minutes already, but Andrew hadn't arrived.

"Mom, why isn't daddy coming yet?" Apollo asked his mom with gloomy eyes. He was thinking if his dad was really not coming.

Mandy crouched before her son and held both of his shoulders. "He's on the way already, sweetheart." She mumbled and gave him an assuring smile even though deep inside, she was disappointed with Andrew. It's the first time that he would meet his son, but he's late.
