I needed some fresh air, so I took a walk before going home. That's when my phone rang. My caller ID showed it was my mom, so I reluctantly answered and just listened as she talked.

“But mom, I don’t know what else to do. I’m running on fumes. I’m on my way home so that I can get some rest.” I wiped my tears. “I’m going to be fine, and I promise I’ll figure out something.”
