“I originally had not planned for any of this.” He said as soon as they were seated inside the car. He knew she wanted explanations, so he thought to tell her clearly why he did all that.

At first, he thought he did not have to explain himself to her just like he did not give explanations to anyone else. He always kept his matters to himself. It made him uncomfortable to share it with others. But after seeing her reaction, he had no choice but to do it.
