Chapter 40 Seduction

“Jane?“ Hendrick’s voice snapped her out of her stupor and she tugged like some old car. Her eyes were filled with pain and uncertainty about what was happening but as she stood there, Jane did her best to understand what it was that was going on.

It was very crazy that she had been hallucinating all that time. Damn, was she becoming a psychopath?

Her eyes widened some more, as she looked at Hendricks in a blizzard kind of way with her words stuck inside her mouth.

she was having a lot of questions and looking at his hands he had nothing in them. Catching sight of how weird Jane was, Hendricks in concern, asked her again if she was having any issues but she had no answers and instead turned around and was walking away from the door, whispering to herself how dumb she had become.

Hendricks got into the house and asked what the matter was and if she had gotten a bad dream, but Jane feeling so stupid with shame-filled all over her face, she shook her head and responded,
