Elvis's car sped into his building, and the automatic gate closed behind them. Javier was the first to exit the car, storming into Elvis's house in a fit of anger as he kept cursing endlessly under his breath, while Elvis followed behind, finding amusement in the incident that had occurred an hour ago. He knew that was the reason for Javier's anger.
Javier sat angrily on the couch, still struggling to believe the audacity of the woman who had slapped his face without any fear. He was curious about her identity.
"Can you believe that lady? She was so brave and full of energy. I'm still stunned that she wasn't even scared of you like the others," Elvis exclaimed, laughing as he sat down on the couch opposite Javier.
Javier glared at him and scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Ladies like her still exist! Whoa!" He continued to praise Natalie non-stop.
"More reason why I'm going to make her life miserable. I will ruin her," Javier growled, clenching his fists, plotting revenge against Natalie. He was seriously planning on the best revenge for her.
"You don't mean it. Come on, it's just a slap." Elvis blunted and burst into laughter.
Javier gave him a murderous glare, causing Elvis to stop laughing and raise his hands in surrender. However, he was still cracking up in laughter, but he tried as much as possible to muff the sound in his throat.
"Can you stop laughing already? It's getting me even more pissed off. And just so you know, I've already called my men. I want her biography, I want to know everything about her so I can easily destroy her," Javier revealed with a sly smirk forming on his lips.
"Come on, Javier. You shouldn't have gone that far. Besides, it was all my fault. If not for me, none of this would have happened. Can you just let it go this once?" Elvis pleaded with him, realizing the seriousness of Javier's intentions.
"You know me well enough to know I don't take shit from anybody, especially not from ladies. She crossed the line, Elvis, and she's going to pay for it," Javier stated firmly, having made up his mind.
Elvis gave up. "You should just take it easy on her," he sighed sadly.
"I'm not promising you that."
They sat in silence for a few minutes before Elvis remembered something.
"Javier!" He turned to him with furrowed brows. "You never told me about your date with Olivia."
"I don't want to talk about that," Javier mumbled, putting more weight on the couch.
"But I want to know, so start talking already," Elvis insisted.
"Can you believe that old fool, my father, paired me up with that bitch because he wants me to marry her?" Javier exclaimed, frustration evident in his voice.
"Wait, your dad set you up on a date with Olivia because he wants you to marry her? Who does that? Hasn't he heard about her sleeping with her bosses to get ahead? Didn't he see her sex tape all over the internet? Why does he still want you to marry her despite everything?" Elvis questioned.
"I don't care about his selfishness. I won't take shit from him," Javier declared.
"You know, I think I know his reason," Elvis thoughtfully muttered. "Remember you told me Olivia's dad wanted to partner with your father's company because he went bankrupt? I think Olivia's dad is behind all this marriage stuff. He wants you to marry Olivia to make the company stronger. We all know how selfish and cunning Olivia's dad can be. He'll do anything to get what he wants. He's tricking your dad and using his daughter without her even knowing." He concluded, his words holding some truth.
"I just hate that bitch and I won't have anything to do with her," Javier expressed his disgust. "I have to put her in her place, or she won't leave me alone."
"And what did Ronnie say about your health condition?" Elvis asked, changing the topic, concern evident on his face.
"He said... there's no solution unless a miracle happens. Look, I've lost hope in all of this. I think I'll have to live like this for the rest of my life," Javier admitted, tears welling up in his eyes as he buried his face in his palms.
Elvis stood up and sat beside him, his hand caressing Javier's shoulder sympathetically. "Javier, it's not over. I still believe there's a solution to this. Don't give up yet. I'm here for you, and I won't give up on you. So don't give up on yourself. We're in this together," he murmured softly. "We'll find a solution."
When Javier looked at his best friend, he saw tears streaming down his face. Elvis always showered Javier with love, care, and support without hesitation. Their love for each other was deep, like the bond between brothers.
Javier couldn't help but chuckle softly at Elvis's heartfelt words. "Okay, enough. I'm the one who's feeling vulnerable here, not you. So stop crying like a baby." He teased, but inside, his heart was hurting.
"Stop saying you're vulnerable. You still have a fighting spirit," Elvis scolded, pouting his lips as he playfully hit Javier's shoulder. "Just know that I'm always here for you," Elvis said, staring into Javier's eyes.
"Yeah, kiddo, I know," Javier chuckled, playfully hitting him back. Elvis glanced at his wristwatch and suddenly stood up from the couch.
"Come on, buddy. It's past 9:27 p.m. already. Let's go to your clubhouse and grab some drinks," he suggested, looking at Javier expectantly.
Javier leaned back on the couch, closing his eyes. "Can't we just grab one here? I don't feel like going anywhere." He whined, tiredly.
Javier was feeling down about Ronnie's report on his condition, and his father had made things worse with the marriage situation. But Javier was a stubborn soul who grew up hating his father's control over his life decisions.
"Who would believe that Javier, the billionaire, has this childish side?" Elvis laughed, pulling Javier up and dragging him outside to his car.
After forty minutes of driving, they arrived at Javier's clubhouse. The sound of music filled the air. Javier stepped out of the car at the same time as Elvis.
Javier was taken aback when he saw some familiar figures approaching him. He wondered why they were here. "I didn't invite you, Mac. What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Oh, you guys are already here. Perfect timing," Elvis interrupted, addressing Mac.
Confused, Javier looked at Elvis and his father's security team. They stared back at him, causing him to furrow his brow.
"Daddy's boy always prioritizes safety," Elvis teased, flashing his annoying smile as he walked past Javier toward the entrance.
Elvis always treated him like a child, which infuriated Javier. However, he knew how to handle him. He would save his revenge for another day.
He hurriedly increased his pace to catch up with him and they both entered the building together. The club room was filled with voices, as dancers performed on poles in the center of the room, gracefully moving their bodies in a captivating manner, enticing Javier to join them.
They continued to flirt with him, revealing their slender figures to him. However, he paid no attention to them. secretly hoping that one of them would have the audacity to approach him, just so he could set an example for all the women present, both here and elsewhere.
He swiftly took his seat next to Elvis at the bar area, who was observing everything. "The ladies' man!" Elvis exclaimed, shouting at the top of his lungs.
"There's nothing but disgust for those whores," Javier scowled. The bartender quickly approached them, apologizing for not realizing Javier was there.
"It's fine. Javier has already forgiven—"
"James, you're fired. Get out of my presence this minute, you poor thing," Javier yelled, interrupting Elvis.
James knelt on the floor, pleading desperately. "Please, boss, don't do this to me. This is my only means of survival. I have ten kids to feed and bills to pay. Please don't take this job away from me. I beg you."
To Javier, the bartender's pleas were completely futile as nothing could sway his decision. Immediately, Javier summoned Mac, who promptly approached upon seeing Javier's hand signal. "Mac, remove this repulsive man from my clubhouse immediately, before I lose control," he commanded in a chilling tone, his expression devoid of any emotion.
Immediately Mac stormed James and quickly grabbed James by the shirt, lifted him off the ground and hoisted him onto his huge shoulder, carrying him out of the club. But James wouldn't stop screaming at the top of his lungs to be given a second chance. However, Javier wasn't in for his drama.
"Javier, you shouldn't have done that," Elvis murmured, showing pity for James.
"He got what he deserved. Just let it be," Javier yelled, calling the manager to get a new bartender. The new employee quickly ran over, avoiding eye contact with Javier.
"Get me a bottle of red wine and two glasses. Be quick about it," Javier ordered, his voice cold and disgusted by her presence. She hurried off.
"Why does he have to employ a Lady? "Elvis, you—" Javier let out a sigh of frustration as Elvis failed to pay attention. Elvis remained fixated on the entrance, leaving Javier curious about the reason behind it.
"Talking about bad timing!" Elvis whispered under his breath, his mouth hanging open as he continued to stare at the door. Javier followed his gaze and saw her standing there.....
"Speaking of the she-devil!" Javier scoffed.
Olivia stood at the entrance of the door. She was the devil, just as Elvis had claimed. ‘Did she really have to come here, of all places?’ Javier thought and hissed. He had already reached his limit. First, it was his father, then that crazy lady who had the audacity to slap him, and now he had to deal with this woman too. His eyes remained fixed on the door without blinking. After a few minutes of scanning the club room, Olivia's gaze finally landed on them. She wore a devilish smirk as she cat-walked towards them like the model she is. While Javier pretended to be engrossed in his cell phone, secretly plotting numerous schemes against her. She finally reached their table and realized there were no empty seats. Her gaze wandered around, as they finally landed on a couple enjoying their time together. She approached them seeking the attention she desired from Javier. Olivia intentionally caused a scene by forcefully displacing the lady from her seat, causing her to fall to the groun
The sun's rays streamed through Olivia's large glass windows, illuminating her face and causing her to stir in bed. However, she remained still and made no effort to rise. Her cell phone continuously buzzed with incoming messages, prompting her to reach out and retrieve it from her bedside table. In doing so, she suddenly felt a jolt and nearly lost her balance while attempting to stand. Instantly, a peculiar and intense headache overwhelmed her, causing her to clutch her head with her right hand in hopes of alleviating the pain. Unfortunately, her efforts proved futile, as she kept hissing in pain. Olivia's steps faltered as she approached her expansive dressing mirror. Her reflection startled her, causing her to pause and her mouth hang open. It felt as though she was gazing at a completely different person. She appeared disheveled, despite her efforts to muster the little energy she had left to shower the previous night. She suspected she had cried herself to sleep, given her re
Alverdo continued to call various contacts, as he drove on the highway in an attempt to bring down his daughter's viral video, but all of his efforts were unsuccessful. No one wanted to get involved because they were aware of Javier's reputation and didn't want to risk getting on his bad side. "Why haven't you been answering my calls?" he angrily lashed out at the CEO of a TV broadcasting service in New York, frustrated by the time she took to pick up. "I'm busy. What do you want?" she said nonchalantly, already knowing why he was calling her non-stop. "Tell your team to take down my daughter's viral video from their broadcast immediately," he commanded, his voice threatening. "And who are you to give me such an order?" she scoffed loudly over the phone. "Just so you know, Javier has instructed us not to take it down until he says so. I'm sorry, but your request cannot be granted," she replied. "I can give you $200 million," Alverdo offered desperately. "Javier offered $2 billion
Javier and Elvis sat in the mansion garden, with Elvis unable to stop laughing at the funny comments on Olivia's viral video. The video was gaining a lot of attention online effortlessly. "Bro, you've made Olivia go viral again, but in a bad way," Elvis said between laughs. "The comments are brutal. People can be so cruel on the internet," he added, scrolling through his phone and still laughing. "She really picked the wrong person to mess with," Javier muttered, sipping his wine. He couldn't shake the image of the woman who had slapped him few days ago from his mind, and he was growing impatient with his men for taking so long to find her information. Elvis was scrolling through his newsfeed when he came across an advertisement from an event planning company. The banner picture featured two familiar faces - the woman who had slapped Javier and her best friend. Without saying anything to Javier, he quietly saved the picture on his phone. “Any updates on the girl you've been search
“Hey, cutie," Olivia said, still smiling and ignoring her question."That doesn't answer my question, and stop smiling like a crazy psychopath before I throw you out of my house," Fabby yelled, pushing her with her little hands. She felt disgusted by her presence.Olivia chuckled before deciding to introduce herself. "My name is Olivia, and I'm your brother's girlfriend and future wife."Fabby's expression was priceless as she couldn't believe the woman her father was trying to set up with her brother was standing right in front of her. She vowed to give her a piece of her mind. "So you're Olivia?" she suddenly asked, to which Olivia quickly nodded with a smile. "So you're the shameless woman forcing herself on my brother."Olivia thought to herself, "Okay, that was rude." She couldn't believe a young child, who she assumed to be around five or six years old, could use such harsh words on her."I will never let my brother marry--""Fabby, will you be quiet," Reyes yelled sternly as he
Olivia couldn't contain her excitement as she entered her father's sitting area and immediately started showing off her dance moves. "I'm so happy!" she screamed, dancing non-stop.Alverdo couldn't help but smile widely as he witnessed his daughter's genuine happiness for the first time. He was glad to be the source of her joy, knowing he had done what any father would do for their daughter. He felt proud to have fulfilled every promise he made to his late wife Riley on her deathbed.Olivia ran to her father and hugged him tightly, crying on his shoulder. Alverdo quickly heard her sobs and pulled away from the hug to hold her face in his hands, looking into her tear-streaked face."Olivia, don't cry, my dear. You should be happy that you're marrying the man you've always wanted," he said, comforting her and pulling her into another hug as she cried harder."Dad, I wish Mom could be here to share this happy moment with me, but I'm glad you're fulfilling the promise you made to her. I'm
She felt a touch on her shoulder but didn't turn around. She continued crying and holding her mother's hand."Why are you crying?" Mira asked, moving from behind and standing in front of her with concern."My mom's body is cold, I think she's..." Natalia struggled to speak through her tears, shivering uncontrollably.Mira hurriedly left the ward and returned with the doctor shortly after. Without wasting any time, he examined Natalia's mother. After a few minutes, he checked her pulse and looked down with a sad expression, shaking his head."Doctor Douglas, what's wrong? Why is her body so cold?" Natalia asked anxiously, concerned about the doctor's somber demeanor. He shook his head once more and gazed at her. "I apologize, Nat," he mumbled, then turned to look at her mom.She hurried over to him, tugging on his white coat and shouting, "What happened to my mother? And don't you dare confirm my worst fears because she's all I have in this world." Natalia cried, still clinging to him.
The cab stopped in front of Mr. Khan's gate and Kate, who was waiting for Natalie, opened the door for her. Natalie got out of the cab and smiled at Kate. Without saying anything, Kate paid the driver and he drove away after saying goodbye.Natalie turned to Kate and asked nervously, "Did I waste any time?" She scratched the back of her head, feeling anxious when Kate mentioned that the client was willing to pay any amount for her service."You came just in time. Come on, let's go inside," Kate urged, pulling her by the hands. They both walked into Khan's sitting area and found him engrossed in conversation with the new client, who sat calmly listening attentively while Khan did all the talking.Kate cleared her throat abruptly to announce their presence. Khan and the new client turned towards them."Ah, here is the shining star of my business, Natalie," Khan praised, pointing at Natalie and urging her to come closer, which she did, clasping her hands behind her back. "Alright, I will
