Without thinking, I grabbed his collar and crashed my lips on his.

I disengaged from the kiss when he didn’t make any attempt to kiss me back.

Sorrow closed up my throat as I looked at him.

All of a sudden, he pulls me closer to me and started kissing me. My eyes widened in shock and not to ruin the moment, I kissed him back.

We stopped to catch our breaths and looked at ourselves.

I spoke first. “Does that mean you have forgiven me?” I asked.

“I guess so” he replied and my face lit up.

“Are...you serious?”

“You won’t invite me in” he asked instead of answering me.

I opened the door wider and he entered. I led him to the couch and he sat down while I stood in front of him ready to pull him back if he tries to leave.

“Where is your mom?” He asked.

“Her room. We went out and...”

He interrupted. “Saw your post” he said and I nodded.

“So would you like something to eat or?” I asked feeling awkward.

“Why are you standing?”
