Eve turned away and took deep breaths. "I understand you don't want me to create a scene right? Then why in the world would you ask your minions to kidnap me?"

"I'm sorry about that." Henry calmly replied.

Eve laughed. "Sorry? You get me abducted and all you can say is sorry? Do you know I almost had a heart attack when your boys pushed me into that van?"

"All these wouldn't have happened if you had agreed to come by the office yesterday," Henry said.

Eve spread her legs and folded her arms across her chest. "If it's about the job, I don't want it," she said looking directly into Henry's eyes.

Henry smiled and sat up. "I must say I'm impressed."

"What are you saying?"

"Yes, I had you taken so we could talk about the job but believe me your guts are rather impressive." Henry maintained.

"If you have nothing to say other than praising my guts, I'll take my leave now," Eve replied and began brushing the edge of her top.
