Chapter 21: We've Been Scammed!
Andrew halted his steps when he heard Megan's question. He turned and glanced at her.
"I'm going back to work. Thanks for the meal." Andrew uttered, then he walked out of the pantry.
Megan was left disappointed. Andrew did not answer her question, which means that he did not want to confirm nor deny it. But looking at his unconcerned reaction, she thought that she might be wrong.
Another three days had passed, but Mandy and Andrew were still cold towards each other. They seldom saw one another since they were both busy with their own affairs.
Until Friday afternoon, Mandy went home with red bulging eyes. Emma noticed it as soon as Mandy entered the living room.
