Chapter Ninety Four

It was a Monday morning and I was in the living room feeding my six-month-old daughter when Aziel walked in.

“Morning.” He greeted.

“Good morning. There’s coffee in the machine if you want some.” He nodded before walking off to the kitchen. When he got back to the living room, Aurora flailed her arms at him telling him to pick her up. Aziel dropped his coffee cup on the coffee table and took Aurora from my hands.

“Morning, princess.” He greeted her with a smile, kissing her cheeks and she cackled in his arms. I’d realized a few months ago that she was a dad’s girl. I mean the only time she’d want me to carry her was when she was hungry and after eating, she’d want to go to Aziel immediately.

“I can’t believe I carried her for nine months and when through a series of emotions only for her to like you more than she likes me. That girl only sees me as a feeding person.” I feigned annoyance.
