Chapter 63

The next day after Lisa had gotten ready for work, luckily he met Daniel eating breakfast at the dining.

“Good morning “ Daniel smiled at her.

“Good morning, “ Lisa said and sat on the chair.

“Hope you slept well?” Daniel asked and Lisa nodded smiling at him.

“What is it you wanted to talk to me about last night ?” Daniel asked and Lisa raised up her head and stared into his eyes. She then noticed his eyes were kinda swollen like he hadn’t slept last night. He looks so stressed and all and that aside she wondered how he knew she wanted to talk to him about something last night even without her saying it.

“It’s alright Lisa, you can talk to me about anything “ Daniel said and gave Lisa a reassuring smile.

“I……” Lisa paused, staring at Daniel . He looked stressed already, she didn’t want to bother him with anything else.

“It’s nothing. I’m serious, it's nothing “ Lisa said and Daniel scoffed. Even though he’s spent not so much time with Lisa, he could tell when she was lying.
