Chapter 209

Lisa lay on the bed tiredly. Mr. Luke had told her he hadn’t heard from Alfred since he left and he said he was sure he was okay. Maybe he’s handling some business and would call Lisa if he hears from him.

NEXT DAY

Daniel had just arrived and the first thing he did, was he boarded a taxi to Alfred’s house and to his surprise he didn’t meet Alfred there but Instead, he saw police officers in the house.

Daniel alighted the car and walked towards the police officer who was closing the gate to the house.

“Mr man, how can I help you?” The officer asked

“Hey, officer. Uhm, why are you locking the gate and where’s Mr. Alfred?” Daniel asked

“And you are?” The officer asked

“His brother-in-law,” Daniel said

“Oh!! Mr. Alfred is currently in the hospital. He was shot by his partner Andrew” The police officer said and Daniel opened his mouth wide in shock.

“What?? Oh my god! What about Andrew?” Daniel asked

“He’s in the hospital too,” the officer said in reply as he stared at Danie
