Chapter 149

Lisa stared at the kids who had sad faces on. She could see Alfred had broken the kid's heart this morning. Just then Arabella burst into tears.

“Daddy won't have breakfast with us today” Arabella burst into tears and Lisa sighed softly. She walked towards her kids and hugged them.

“Don't worry kids, I'm here alright. Mommy is here we can have breakfast together” Lisa said as she stroked Arabella’s hair.

“No, I want daddy” Arabella cried

“Daddy is busy now. Alright, he won't be happy when he finds out you are crying” Lisa said and immediately Arabella stopped crying.

After Lisa had tried calming them down, she brought them to the dining room and served them breakfast but they refused to eat. Even when she tried feeding them, they didn't collect the food from her.

They were sad, Alfred wasn't here with them. Lisa sighed softly not knowing what to do. She hated to see her kids this sad. She wondered what important work Alfred had to attend to that made him tell the kids
