(Ivy’s POV)

Three days passed since what happened, and things felt strange ever since. Training went on as usual, but I couldn’t focus.

While sparring with Celina, my moves were sloppy because my mind was pre-occupied by a lot of things. And by things, I mean Ryker.

“You’re distracted again,” she said, blocking my punch easily. “What’s going on with you?”

“Nothing,” I muttered quickly, forcing a weak smile. “I’m fine.” I lied.

Ryker hadn’t spoken to me since that night. I barely even saw him around anymore, and when I did, he acted like I didn’t exist. He treated me like I was a ghost. I hated how much it bothered me.

I know he said he’ll stay away from me, but I didn’t want it to get this far. There are some things I also need to discuss with him, important matters, but I can’t tell him since he’s been avoiding me like a plague.

It was frustrating. This was all Ronan’s fault. If he hadn’t scolded Ryker that night, things wouldn’t have turned out like this.
