Ivery's POV.

As Franco pulled away from the kiss, I could feel my cheeks burning with embarrassment. I opened my eyes and saw the smug look on his face. He laughed, the sound echoing in the room. “A kiss can shut a woman up,” he said, a sly grin on his face.

I felt the anger rising inside me, but I was too stunned to speak. My mind was racing, trying to process what had just happened. The feel of his lips on mine was still vivid in my mind as if the unexpected kiss heightened my senses.

I turned on my heel and ran out of the beach, not daring to look back. I wanted to get as far away from Franco as possible, to escape the awkwardness and embarrassment I felt. I could feel my face burning with shame, the heat of it radiating off my cheeks. My feet pounded against the floor as I ran, my breath coming in short, sharp gasps.

I longed for the cool night air outside, for the feeling of freedom and escape. I ran blindly, not caring where I was going. I just wanted to get away.
