Chapter 24

Melissa shut her door behind her and sighed. She was exhausted from spending the whole day out while wearing heels and a suit. Nelly had taken her all the way to the place where the wedding would hold to give her a feel of it. They had spent practically all day there and it was refreshing finally being home.

Melissa kicked of her heels and picked them up as she walked to her room. She went through her usual routine of having a shower, drying her hair and settling down on bed to arrange her thoughts. Today was very productive and Melissa was happy. She had gotten a down payment for the job was was extremely thrilled.
