Night came again over Men's Island, too many things had happened that day.

Amalthea's heart was heavy after going back to the cross in the middle of the colosseum, she played back the look on the fire's face over and over again in her consciousness. She always dismissed the missing parts in her memory as to having lived for too long, memories of creatures - that live almost as long as immortals do - were bound to slip every now and then.
